North Vancouver Neighbourhood Profile – Lower Lonsdale

North Vancouver Neighbourhood Profile – Lower Lonsdale

Lower Lonsdale A Locals Perspective:

Lower Lonsdale has been labeled the Yaletown of North Vancouver and is commonly referred to by locals as the “LoLo”.

Lower Lonsdale has been labeled the Olympic Village of North Vancouver, and is commonly referred to by locals as  “Lolo” (its an annoying name at first but you’ll warm up to it) In the early evening you’ll catch Lolo residents, strolling to a fitness class, a happy hour, or doing this weird half walk, half run thing down Lonsdale to try and catch their aimed sea bus time. Please note the walk home for these locals is no stroll, it’s a winded power walk climb. Spin studios, stretchy pants, strollers, vegan/vegetarian/organic overall health shops, and  Breweries are all in very large supply in this Vibrant, youthful, healthy and also really thirsty waterfront community, Long Live the Lolo.
